All the pads are securely vacuumed in shrinkwrap and hardware kits are sealed in a plastic wrap, make sure NOT TO ACCEPT a Goodyear box with lose material in it.

Chamfer
In Goodyear we design the chamfer shape for each
specific type of brake pad applications. These chamfers are designed to optimize reduction in brake vibration and noise in all braking conditions. Chamfer also designed to reduce the pad wear and prevent the friction to lift of the metal backing.
Slot
Designing the right type of Slots or channels have two functions in our brake pads. They shift the natural frequency of the brake pad by breaking up friction part into smaller pieces. They can also allow for gasses trapped between the rotor and the pads to escape.
3 Layers Shim
The 3 layers shim on Goodyear brake pads are designed to reduce and damp the pad's vibration during the brake time, which helps reducing the noise and also cause smooth brake
